PART TIME 15 HOURS PER WEEK: Tuesday or Wednesday 10am-4pm, Thursday 10am-4pm in office, plus occasional special events

$16 - $19 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Peer Support Manager, the Peer Support Specialist (PSS) is our primary contact with hundreds of Lake County mothers.

EXPERIENCE: At least two years of administrative, office, and general support work experience, or any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: GED or equivalent required. Knowledge of suicide prevention philosophy/methods, maternal mental health support, Protective Factors, Nurturing Parenting and/or Adverse Childhood Experience frameworks preferred.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES: Excellent guest service standards. Proficiency in English and Spanish (grammar, spelling, etc.) and basic math. Computer literate with good typing skills. Good phone etiquette. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated team player. Responsible, dependable, flexible, and self-motivated.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES: Proficiency with Google Suite, Facebook, and Excel mandatory. Familiarity with public speaking preferred.

REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver's License
